COVID-19 Recovery: Community Engagement Survey

Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on our communities and economy. Facing this public health crisis over the last few months has been a fast-moving, unprecedented situation and inevitably, there have been and will be significant changes.

We want to work in partnership with our communities as we develop our recovery plan, which will be part of our 5-year business plan.

The first stage in this is recovery and transformation to shape the future of our Council services. We need to bring together as many views as possible to develop a broad action plan and we also need solid determination and wider partnership working to support the delivery and achieve significant results.

Why we are consulting

We have already started work on the plan, but we need you to tell us – are we focusing on the right things?

All our lives have changed over recent months – including how you contact and do business with the Council. Not everything will go back to how it was previously.

We are facing a massive financial challenge. That is why we need your feedback to let us know:

• what's important to you
• what we can continue to do differently
• what we can stop doing to allow us to focus support where it is needed most

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete.

What happens next

The results of the survey will be published on our website w/c 31 August 2020.

These will be used to inform the Council five-year business plan and corporate plan that will be considered by Falkirk Council on 30 September 2020.
