IJB Budget 2018/19 - 2019/20

Closed 14 Mar 2018

Opened 27 Feb 2018

The Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership has been asked to find savings of £3m by Falkirk Council.

This has been a challenging exercise and has meant that the Partnership has had to consider options that were previously protected from budget reductions.

It is anticipated that the Council may be prepared to accept savings of less than £3m. In the event that this happens, savings options 1.4 (Younger Adult Day Services) and 2.4 (Additional Older Adult Day Services) are unlikely to go ahead.

Final approval for these savings (excluding charging) rests with the Falkirk Integration Joint Board.

No final decisions will be taken by the Integration Joint Board until 16 March 2018. Charging remains the responsibility of Falkirk Council which will consider all of the savings on 28 February 2018.
